Our First Choice for Outfits

when you think of gay people you probably imagine high style, sophistication, Gallery Night and big goblets of expensive wine, wild circuit parties with shots of Patron and flashing lights glistening on bare skin. (yeah. me too. which is especially funny in contrast to our lives.)


Russ got paid today AND we had the "night off" tonight. Janelle (who is wonderful) from Home Care Solutions came and spent some time with Grannie tonight. delighted, Russ & i decided to have a late Anniversary celebration. so, how do we decide to spend our Big Night Out? the movies. and, true to form, our cab got us there 10 min's after the movie had started.


sooooo, we ended up having the 2 entrees for $20 at Los Rancheros and the 2-for-1 margaritas, just us laughing and talking. then, we hit The Ticket. we played Buzztime trivia and had draft beer (which i LOVE). i had a shot, the Grape Ape, because they were on special but Russ refused. 


anyway, after 2 fantastic hours we called a cab and headed home. yes friends and neighbors, on our one night out away from home with money in our pockets and a trained Home Health Aide at home with Grannie, we went home at 7:00. some wild party life we live, huh?


still, truth is -- while we had a great time and truly enjoyed it, if you are as lucky as we are, nothing is as wonderful as snuggling up in our bed and drifting off to sleep listening to the soft, rhythmic breath of the man you love. (unless i fall asleep first or you have learned to enjoy the sound of loud snoring. lol - because that's part of it too!)
